The Tennessee Orthopaedic Society (TOS) is planning to participate in the Tennessee Medical Association’s (TMA) annual Day on the Hill, an important policy briefing and lobby day taking place in downtown Nashville at the legislative offices of the Tennessee General Assembly.
This free event brings together physicians, physicians-in-training, and healthcare administrators from across the state to actively engage in the legislative process and advocate for key issues impacting medical practice and patient care in Tennessee. Through direct interaction with lawmakers, attendees can ensure that the voice of organized medicine is heard on critical healthcare policy matters.
During Day on the Hill, participants will spend the day meeting with their local legislators, attending committee hearings, and building relationships with peers who share a commitment to advancing high-quality healthcare throughout the state. The event offers a valuable forum for orthopaedic surgeons and practice leaders to highlight challenges facing musculoskeletal care and to support policies that benefit both physicians and patients.
TOS encourages members to consider attending and representing orthopaedics at this important advocacy event. Active participation helps strengthen the Society’s influence at the state level and reinforces the importance of physician-led policymaking.
The deadline to register is Friday, February 27 at 5:00 PM CT.
For those interested in shaping the future of healthcare in Tennessee, TMA Day on the Hill provides a meaningful opportunity to engage, advocate, and lead.
